Alisha was a beautiful and very happy little girl who made the best of her short time here. She sadly passed away aged only 6 months and 22 days, on the 1st October 2001. Whilst she is missed by everyone who knew her, she remains our inspiration for fundraising.
Our hope is that one day that a cure will be found and other parents won't have to suffer the loss of their beautiful children.
Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) is a rare genetic condition that occurs in various forms. In its most severe form, 80% of affected infants will not live to see their first birthday.
Every penny raised goes straight to the JTSMA. The Jennifer Trust support families affected by SMA now and funds research into finding a cure, hence their motto Help For Today, Hope For Tomorrow.
