Finally you come back under a bridge into Charlton Marshall. After the bridge you'll see the gardens of Charlton Marshall village on your right and fields on your left.
At the point where gardens start on the left-hand side, you will be approaching where you first joined the trailway and this is where you need to come off.
Retrace the route back the way you came, past the playground into Hopegood Close, and back along The Close. A slight and welcome downhill stretch.
Look right at the end of The Close to find the Start/Finish at the Charlton Inn and a hero's welcome!
